Meet the Founder
Once upon a time there was a lady named Mary. While her lifelong passion was to be a performer and comedy writer, Mary had to pay the bills. She worked in employee & community engagement at tech companies focused in engineering consulting, innovation, and product development. As a part of these organizations, Mary got pretty good at bringing strangers together and encouraging them to connect on shared interests.
“Tell me why it’s cool” is Mary’s favorite conversation starter when hearing about someone’s hobbies and interests.
After years of interesting conversations with super smart people, Mary thought that those nerds might like meeting other nerds outside of their private organizations. Thus, Show & Tell for Grown-Ups and other Tell Me Why It’s Cool show formats were born.
Our goal is to produce live shows & events that gather passionate people to share, learn, and grow together.
